The only problem is Auburn has to back the Brinks truck up to get rid of Harsin and they’re still paying out Gus for the next two years too.

Probably won't happen, but it shouldn't be for lack of effort on our part. You at least send out feelers to find out if there's even remote interest.

Most likely we end up with someone more unheralded, but there are plenty of solid coaches out there who don't necessarily have a flashy resume. And following Geoff could actually be ideal for a lot of up and comers. They'll be looked at as saviors if they can realize even a baseline level of competence and success.

I wouldn't want Todd Stansbury anywhere close to hiring a new coach, he may decide to give the new guy a ten year
contract. The GTAA needs to get up a committee of former players to do the search, interviewing and recommendations
for the hiring of a new coach. I remember when Taz Anderson, Kim King and George Morris aided in the hiring or made
recommendations for new coaches, it's too bad none of those guys aren't still with us.
