I am sick of it D*#*it

What the hell is wrong with you people. All I have heard from these message boards the past two damn days is straight negativity with little positive things to say about the effort on Saturday.

Some of us take our cues from our coach, who also said exactly the same stuff we're saying.

We will get *smoked* by Clemson, Miami, or FSU if we play like we did on Saturday. Holy crap, FSU and Miami look like top 10 teams. They looked amazing. Seriously amazing football teams. I'm terrified of both of them.

First, yeah we'd get beat if we played that way again. Anyone here believe we'll play like that again against a team with a winning record?

Second, really? I feel much better about playing FSU, though I now believe even more that Miami will be a hard win at best. FSU's defense looked very undisciplined. We could score all night long on them.

Are you idiots serious? We're playing Clemson. CLEMSON. The have SEC speed. We're ****ed. Righteously ****ed. There's no way Tech can win this game. We're overrated again, just like every year. Tech always loses.

FSU and Miami both looked good at certain points during that game, but I don't know how much of it is being good, or simply looking good in a rivalry game. Ponder looked pretty good, and Harris seemed to get a lot better after he got popped. I think FSU has a bad hangover after last night, and I'd love to get a crack at them this weekend. Same can be said for Miami, which seems like a team that will rest on their laurels and listen to their own hype. We should beat both of those teams. Hell, I can't see how we don't hang another half mile on Miami with that defense, and FSU's defense was overly aggressive again, which makes me tingle in special places.

I am not worried about our offense, I was worried about a lack of focus, but then I heard Paul Johnson say that he had some plans for addressing that this week. I would not want to be on the football team this week.

You know what I have been reading on here and on bbuzzoff?

"If we play like we did against JSU (insert team) will beat us"

What the hell is wrong with you people. All I have heard from these message boards the past two damn days is straight negativity with little positive things to say about the effort on Saturday.

About 80% of the people on these boards are saying "Oh well....Clemson will beat us if we play like this, or FSU and MIA would both beat us at this point".

Did you all not learn anything from last year in that PJ's teams usually do a complete turn around if he isn't happy?!

Buck up, guys! We did have some positives in that game. All of you guys are freaking out over our negatives but are laying down at the feet of other teams for their positives.

Clemson's offense wasn't stellar against MTU, FSU and MIA's defense's look porous. FSU's offense isn't great. 7 points of MIA's score at the half came off a busted coverage.

Chill out, stop the handwaving freak out crap and let's rally as a fan base and think about some of the good things in the games and stop worrying about all of there other teams' positives and think of the negatives they are doing as well.

Rant over.
This is the second post like this in a couple days. Could you 2 guys just shut up and grow a pair please? We're talking about our team. It didn't look fantastic. Don't worry, we all still wear GT pajamas and dream our little GT dreams, ok?

good grief

I can never remember if I could be defined as pessimistically optimistic or optimistically pessimistic?

WTF cares though.... I think GT wins a lot of games this year, but I will still worry about every single one of them before the game.

Deal with it. I am not going to post all my joyous beliefs that we will dominate, but I will list the things that concern me.

I think if that one dude Allen can keep his hands on the ball and we avoid fumbles things should really heat up for Thursday night, Im excited, WHITE OUT!! LETS GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!!

Well I for one am sick and tired of being criticized for my critiquing that sometimes leans towards being critical. Some pugnents are critically acclaimed for their astute critiquing of all things critical. :eek5:

Unfortunately the Gailey years have made the majority of the fanbase pessimistic. Sad really. Tech fan's mentality is entirely wrong. Its gonna take a few years of hardcore winning to change the culture here. Our coach has confidence, our players have confidence, but the fans do not.

Nobody is pessimistic. We're talking about our team in a realistic way. Nobody wants to run CPJ out on a rail.

If the Gailey years made us pessimistic, they surely made you guys sensitive to any and all criticism.

So, if Paul Johnson had been unhappy prior to the Jax State game we'd have put up 52, right..??..
