Holy crap! Who would've thunk it? Going into today, I'd have given us a snowball's chance in hell to make it to the ACC championship game down in Tampa. However, with Clemson just knocking off UVA and NC State laying the smackdown on UNC, all we need is VPI to lose to either Duke or UVA (which will be playing next week in Blacksburg for bowl eligibility)! The improbable just became a lot more probable. My gosh it would be such an early Christmas gift for us to first and foremost, take UGAy behing the woodshed and beat 'em silly, and then play for the ACC championship game for a possible Orange Bowl birth. I know, I know, don't count your chickens before they hatch, but man o' man who could've imagined this back in August? :fingersx:
 
I could be the world's biggest David Cutcliffe fan by this evening. I'd almost think the Dookies could have a little shot if it wasn't in Blacksburg. I think we'll just have to hope Al Groh can motivate his guys next week with bowl eligibility up for grabs. As with UNC, turnovers killed UVa today (4 versus only 1 for Clemson). Gotta hope they play error-free next week in Blacksburg.
