bro of mover, I'm with ya as well, however, I must admit, shamefully.....
Back in '80 I did pull for UGA in their championship run. Tech was so poor in football during that time and the run UGA made was a lot of fun to follow, from Hershel's incredible speed and power, to Buck's steady leadership, to Munson falling off of his chair.
When it came down to the final drive that UGA had to do to secure its victory over the Irish, it was said that Hershel looked up in the first huddle after gaining possession and said the only words he had uttered in a huddle all year long: "Let's do it". There was NO WAY they were not going to "do it' after that. Whether you're a dawg or a dawg hater you have to admit it was a great moment in college football.
Now, before I'm pilloried for this admission, please know this: the incredible arrogance, condesending attitude, and unbelievable braggadocio displayed by the majority of dawgs from that day to now, 26 years later, has more than made me realize the error of supporting the dogs "while they're not playing Tech". I've had my face rubbed in virtual dogshit so much that, like GTHutnter, I'd pull for the Taliban if they were playing UGA.
It won't happen again.
