on the injury to Duece on other boards and find myself laughing ridiculously at some comments I see.

1. One was it was CCG fault because he should never have been playing. What a joke. Maybe we will just take the any game for granted and sit out the best players. Sorry folks you do not do that. After a half I can see but an entire game? NAH

2. "CCG ran him way to many times (37) against UM." Now thats a laugher. I guess when you have a go to guy you only let him carry the ball say 15 or twenty times a game. Another laugher IMO. When you have a horse you ride it to the bitter end. I guess all the great running backs of past and present who averaged carrying the ball 25-30 times a game were overworked as well.

Injuries are a part of the game of football and every other game in life. You hate to see them coming, but they happen. I hate, just as I am sure the rest of you do, that Duece got hurt, BUT you can bet your ARSE TC WANTED to be on that field yesterday.

I just hope it is not a major injury and he can be back as soon as possible. If not another tailback or 2 have to step up and get the job done.

Good time for a week off to get some injuries healed up and ready for VT.

If Gailey would have been conserv w/ TC in Miami game. TC would raise hell. He wanted the ball, we gave it- he rode us to V, and then he gets hurt. It happens- but what every team want's is a leader that is not afraid to do every thing he can to win!! That is TC - dude has a heart of a champion.

Defense's turn from hear on out.

2 VERY good points JOJATEC.

You got to be kidding me right. We really needed our top player with a hurt hamstring playing against Army. This game was not in question ever. I mean RG had his second 100yd game of his career. I can see Miami. Smart coaching would have sat him for Army with the bye week coming up and gave him the rest for two weeks. By then the hammy would have been almost if not good with treatment from our trainers. I disagree very much.

Haha. If Chan had sat Choice, he would have been being crucified as Army hung with and almost outplayed us in the first half. You don't sit your best player in the homecoming game against a team that could beat you(you say it's Army, but we lost to UVA and Maryland, teams we should have beaten easily). You will not find any team who does that, except in the NFL if they have wrapped up a playoff berth and have nothing to really play for.

wrong wrong wrong

When you sit your top player and team leader before a game even starts....you send the wrong message to the team. This is the very things everyone complains about...that we are too relaxed in the "easy games".

Army is not a pushover....Boston College's outstanding offense produced the same results that we did...they had a 16-7 first half lead and ended up winning 37-17.

He hurt his knee in the first quarter...it could have just as easily happened in practice.

Armchair QB's just make me sick...always applying hindsight to decision that coaches many times have 10 seconds to make.

What? You just called me "wrong wrong wrong" and then agreed with everything I said.

You call smart coaching sitting your stud? I do not care who the opponent is, you do NOT sit your stud. Did Oklahoma ever sit Pederson?

You hope the game is out of reach by the end of the first half, then you sit your stud.

Tell ya what, if TC is ok, lets sit him out against Duke so he can be ready for UGAg. (DUH)

My sentiments EXACTLY!!!

Wow. How many carries did he get? 9?

I bet the lack of rain is Gailey's fault, too.

You mean CCG is the reason Atlanta is running out of water? :laugher::laugher:

And I thought it was Mover sitting on the toilet 3 hours a day with constant flushing!!!!:laugher:

Stupid post dude. Not much more that can be said, but you clearly have no clue about football or football players.
