are we gonna lose a SLEW of good recruits this year and maybe even some to transfers???? I KNOW Braine will hire a good coach (I've heard Beamer is on the list), but I'm worried about the instability this situation brings. We NEED someone who's a PROVEN winner/motivator who can (unlike O'Leary) take a little heat once in awhile. Braine WILL get us this person, but at what immediate cost?? My optimism about next season is now gone.

IMHO I think the impact on recruiting will be determined by the speed at which a successor is named, and the quality of the coach named... I hope Beamer is on the list, and hope that he will consider taking the job... coaching changes are always disruptive, but Richt and Ga did pretty good this year... Saban has done pretty good at LSU... I think it really depends on the coach... I think the change is going to be good, again, depending on who takes the job...
