When's the last time we did the TO pitch reverse where the QB pitches like a standard TO pitch but it goes instead to a reversing AB or WR rather than the trailing back? Have I just missed it?

did it to Juene a few times the last couple of seasons. I remember it being blown up for the most part ever since Smelter took it to the house vs. UNC

Yeah I think we ran it against UGA last year and it got blown up. Could be making that up though.

Didn't we run some sort of reverse/double reverse throw back to JT5 with Smelter once? or am I just imagining how awesome that would have been? Pretty sure Smelter was a QB in high school is why I was thinking I remembered this. BJ Bostic was a HS QB also, could've been him.

we tried a wr throw against UGA back in..... 2011 or 2013. the brilliance was that we didn't use one of the 6 guys on the team that had played QB in HS, we used, IIRC Michael Summers.

it was picked off

Well we tried to run a QB throw-back at UGAg last year that didn't quite go as planned either.

Always works. Need to run it more. Usually a big gain. Incomplete sentences.

If we are in a close game and the backside DE is playing the way JSU's did, we will see the reverse. There hasn't been a game this year where it's been needed.

UT was lining up two yards off the ball and allowing us to handle them.

JSU DE's were overly aggressive, but no reason for CPJ to give tape to future opponents.

PITT played a lot like UT and were even worse on the inside. We don't have to reverse when we are guaranteed 4-5 up the middle every play.

EXACTLY--what I was thinking at the time. Bing,Bing--a winner!

Primarily a WR and safety, I think, but what couldn't he do? Probably could've been a great option QB too in an emergency.

Our trick plays never work (as intended) against UGA. Which is sad because there should be no team easier to trick.

What has worked is running the same play repeatedly because they're too dumb to fix the problem. (Same pass play twice in a row in our 90+ yard TD drive last year.)

And if JT5 saw the right man the 1st time it would've been an 80+ yd TD.
