I was foolish enough to think that our offense would actually be better this year even though we would loose a superhuman at wide reciever.

I didnt truly realize how much he changed how the opposing team played defense and how much he opened up our offense.

Actually our offense looks almost identical to his last four non-bowl games. We're not really worse and that is SCARY.
 
Well, the thinking was that Taylor replacing Reggie would cancel out Calvin leaving. We all know how that turned out.
 
Has any team wasted an individual player like we did with Calvin Johnson?

Maybe the most talented college WR ever and he has the misfortune of being from Atlanta and falling into the lap of offensive genius Chan Gailey, with passes courtesy of marksman Reggie Ball.

Anyone else would have been pissed and transferred but not CJ... what an amazing human being
