If your computer has A/V inputs you could plug the comcast DVR into your computer and capture it, then burn it to DVD...

Great idea, except now that I think about it, I have a DVD recorder with a/v inputs.

Let me know if this works. I have heard a lot of talk about Comcast's security measures when it comes to stuff like that, I'm interested to see what happens.
