I feel worse today, because in my opinion Ugag doesn't have comparable talent to us on the basketball court (same as us not having comparable talent to them on the football field), when you get beat by a team that's inferior to yours, it hurts more than when you lose to a team that you know can beat you, and the fact that that team is your hated rival (and one who intent to beat for the loss during football season and set things right in your world) just compounds the problem.
The difference is that we are the 800 lb gorilla in basketball, we were supposed to not beat them but humiliate them. In football the roles are revesed, just wished we could honor our role a bit more in basketball.

UGA is 6-1, have they played Michigan State or any non conference foes worth mentioning. The loss to UIC is a bad loss, but I bet that we have a better record at the end of the year.

I certainly hated losing the FB game. Mainly because I really felt like, because of defense, GT would win the game this year. My BB perspective is that I feel like GT should/does have the better program of the two schools, so I'm bitter about losing to UGA last night, especially by getting out-hustled.
It's hard to answer this question. Nothing, NOTHING, in sports is greater than a GT victory over UGA on the football field.
Probably because the BB loss can be forgotten by Feb/Mar if the team improves throughout the year (when GT reached the Final Four in '04 I had l-o-n-g forgotten the December 2OT loss), I'll say the FB loss hurts worse.
I mean, look what GT lost out on with that 14-7 defeat, not only has UGA's streak reached five now, but instead of talking Gator or Peach Bowl, many of us are bemoaning the Emerald Bowl.

I felt worse after the BB loss, because (1) we didn't play up to our potential, and (2) I expected to win. As much as I hoped to win the FB game, I did not expect it.
