should watch what we say over here on the board. Those folks over on the hive are really putting us down. So I suggest we cool it on our posts about Chan, MstA. Beeware etc.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Sure thing. MsTA and Beeware would be banned for life over there.

Trust me, it's not that hard to get banned. It happened to me for MUCH less.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">foggy,
I agree that it is downright silly that the Chan lovers have to viciously strike out at anyone that does not share there lofty opinion of Chan.

But the hive is certainly not a standard for anything. That is the most anal-retentive bunch in the history of message boards. Being put down by some of those fonts on the hive could be worn as a badge of honor.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">I don't think that's what is happening. Disagreeing with you is not a result of my "agenda" (can't speak for anyone else). I just take exception to the fact that some people refuse to say anything positive about the program.

I'll definitely offer my share of criticism when it is warranted, but there are those who will absolutely not say ANYTHING positive.

I'm not even saying this is you, I will say it is MsTA though.

Anyway, this is a dumb thread. Who cares what is being said on the hive?

I agree CDK some will never give CCG any praise. Me I kinda like the guy and will give him his chance the same way we gave Dodd, Pepper, Fulcher, O'Liar and others.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">I agree OldFoggy.. I am not sure how Gailey will turn out.. but I like what I see so far in his second year.. and know that I will give him and this team my full support... and that includes my posts on an internet message board.

Thanks Old Foggy. I'll watch it.

I'm as guilty as anyone on the mudslinging. Just not at Chan.

If the Hive is "the most anal-retentive bunch in the history of the message board," what does that make you? I know some seem to hold a badge of honor toward what you put down. They are few. They just wish they were many, but they're not.

GO JACKETS!!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">OF: I have a real problem with nastiness and attacks towards each other. I will continue to critique Chan's ability or non-ability to direct GT's football program! I will do it always in the football critiquing arena not about the man personally! Which by the way, I have never done.

I have done this for all teams I follow and am not about to change because somebody has an opposite opinion or says GT fans don't do this. I guess George O'Leary was the exception! Myself, Beeware, Beebad and NUMEROUS others have been attacked here on a personal level more times then can even be documented. It speaks volumes for the GT persona for which I have been SHOCKED!

I will continue to analyze the 'state of the program' and look at each game as it's played. What's ironic here is that those who have justified calling me out have never looked at my posts since the season started. They all have 'THEIR OWN AGENDA' An agenda that they say I have towards good old Chan - they now have towards me. Who's calling the KETTLE BLACK NOW!

I said basically nothing after the BYU loss.

I offered a statement after the Auburn win that I was happy but the season has yet play out.

I definitely offered an opinion on the loss to FSU and the outcome! Because I chose to see nothing good other then a loss when WE SHOULD HAVE WON - those NASTY ATTACKERS continue to come out and indulge in the most aggressive, vicious, nonsense statements about others who disagree.

It seems everyone here feels it's necessary to critique a loss and find something good - not me and it never has been - especially when WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM THAT NIGHT AND SHOULD HAVE WON!

No Oldfoggy, this is no longer about GT football it's about attacking individuals on a personal level. And believe me, everytime that is done - I will speak out more then I have ever done before!

Methinks you are confused. I honestly disagreed with your statement that we were the better team in a post yesterday and you did not address that. Instead you choose to go off on a tangent and attack me about accusing you of something that was not intended. You have not as yet addressed my reply. To me there are two types of criticisms--constructive and destructive. Constructive criticism is good and should be welcomed because it means you really care. Destructive criticism is just that. I haven't totally disagreed with everything you have posted in the past, but when you do , I will exercise my right on this board to disagree in a civil manner. You should do the same.

Just a thought.

If your posts were not so emotional and personal, the responses directed at you would not be so emotional and personal.

Just a thought.

You say you critique Chan and it is not personal and then mention that the poster should look up posts from people that "like Chan". I suggest the poster spend a few days attempting to decipher some of the unintelligible posts that you have made over here in the last few months and make the decision for himself. At least I can understand what Beeware is trying to say. You are also constantly YELLING - or do you not know what all caps are for? If you come into a situation and YELL, expect to get YELLED back at.

By the way, I think the above post from UncleBee is being very cordial. You could have answered him in a like manner instead of once again attempting to drag those who support our coach through the gutter.

First of all, I am not a newcomer to this board. I have been lurking for almost two years. I have only just started posting. IMHO, I have seen as much viciousness from the anti-Chan group as I have from the pro-Chan group so don't try to convince me otherwise. Secondly, since I am a relatively new poster, you have no idea what my thoughts about Gailey are because I have never really stated them. I will tell you this--I did not like the way last season ended (who did--except those who want Gailey to fail) and I did not like what happened with Flunkgate. But, I am a supporter of this team (yea, that includes the coaches, too). I like the fire, determination, and guts this team is beginning to show and it gives me a lot of optimism. Does this mean that Gailey is going to be the savior of the program? Don't know, it's way to early to tell. I think Gailey needs to be given the time and leeway to get the ship righted. Any coach should be at least given that opportunity.

Please have a nice day
