What happened to Michael Johnson??? I only see him on ST this year. Anyone know why?
 
He's playing STs, DE in nickel, and TE in goal line. Actually an increased role from last year. He should be starting full time at DE next year.
 
It's hard to get significant playing time when you're behind Darrell Robertson and Adamm Oliver, but #93 has still managed to get in on quite a few snaps. Right now, he's being used as Felipe Claybrooks-esque 3rd down/nickel pass rusher.
 
Supposedly he doesn't start because he is a little weak compared to the others on run defense and the whole seniority thing. The man is a beast, its hard to beleive that Oliver causes more chaos on the line than MJ.
 
I've been lovin seeing him play. He's out there a lot. He's in the backfield all the time. He's not getting many sacks because he is always getting held. However, he does a great job of making the QB throw too early. He is quite the disruptor. It is my opinion that he is having a great year.
