I was at the game today. My thoughts...

Wake was the better team today. This was my first game of the season(On my dads season tickets The stadium looks GREAT. I new there was something to worry about after seeing how close the BYU game was, and after Tony got hurt in it. Not to take away from ACE, I think he is a true freshman, and going to be a huge contribution in the future. I think NOT going for it on fourth and inches was ludicras! We did NOT have a big enough lead to give them the ball back with that much time. bad call on Chans part. Okay, we all make mistakes...but tell me, how much longer before Bilbo starts?? How many more times does AJ have to overthrow recivers?? My last comment before I send in my 1st post on this board...what is with all you "Boo Birds"? Yes, the team didnt preform up to par today, but do you think being booed by there OWN fans really helps? We need to STOP that NOW! also...we need to make more noise in the alumni section(Again, I was in my dads seats) My friend and I were the ONLY ones loud the whole game, and a Tech fan had the nerve to say to me "Okay boys sit down" Thanks to the lady behind us who stuck up for us :-D did anyone see my sign? ABC: Awesome Buzz Channel? see yall in ATHENS if not before! Go JACKETS!!

Let's be clear, Wake was the better team today because Wake was the better coached team today. Let's assign blame to the appropriate party.

Oh without a doubt Wake was the better team. Im just saying the times that Bilbo was in, the team seemed to play better. Coaching WAS definitly a problam. It's okay. Go get em Jackets!! GO JACKETS!!! GO VOLS!!!!!

The only booing that was justified was when CG punted on 4th and 1 at midfield. THAT WAS A LAME DECISION. It gave Wake the momentum, and they immediately drove 80 yards for a 1st and goal to go. This decision showed a lack of confidence in the team, and the team exhibited a lack of confidence in their play after the LAME decision.

WHat kind of message does that send to the team...
That you don't think you can get a FOOT in a critical situation ?
That was one of the lamest calls ever.

Now, don't get me wrong, in a lot of different games/situations, I would have punted.
But in this case, with Wake dominating at the LOS offensively and sustaining drives as they were, we HAD to take that minor risk, and at the end, we only netted a few yards anyway.....Terrible decision IMO

The only booing was NOT when they punted on fourth and inches! (Were we at the same game) Fans booed AJ all day! I will tell you as much as the next person that i think Bilbo needs to start instead of AJ, but i dont BOO AJ by any means!
