I am not sure if Goose is a coach, but I saw him a few times on the field during warm ups this year. Anyone know if he does any coaching with the team?
 
I wish Godsey was still an Yellow Jacket but he left Suggs is an ok qb but maybe he could have learned something from Godsey though i would like to see us with an more mobile qb in the future.

I heard him on 790 before the ugag game and he said he had been working with the QB's during practice. It was also said that he was in the coaching box behing BOB and Tenuta during the ugag game. IMHO, if he is interested in coaching, we should hire him to be our QB coach.
 
GT Dean, if Goose is interested in coaching I would love to see him on the staff. However, the way it works is that you start as a grad assistant, not a position coach. While Goose is from all reports a great kid and understands how to play QB, none of us know whether he can coach or not. From all reports Michael Jordan can't coach a lick for instance.
 
Word is that Goose is a very knowledgeable QB and has the ability and potential to be a great coach; however, in the past I have heard he was not interested in being a coach....that, of course, could change as time passes.
 
Whatever happened with Goose's Arena League try-out? I could've sworn that he was trying out for the Georgia Force.
