I Wonder If JT...

He's big enough to bench press Danny Woodhead 20 times.

JT has a strong throw, no doubt. He just has to put everything into to it at his size to really get it downfield. His > 35yard motion looks so much strained than those NFL QB's even close to his size such as Wilson, Brees, etc. It's working for us but more than likely won't in the NFL.
Read a piece from somewhere this morning about evaluating QBs for the draft. No. 1 requirement is accuracy. No. 2 is arm strength. No. 3 is intelligence, with field vision pushing it as I remember. Of course with all that we have seen some really sizzling draft selections, haven't we?

i wonder if you realize that the Bible has been re-written, translated, transliterated, and edited more often than a Superman script; just as an aside

Yeah. It's a bunch of doctored up bulllshit... Like most college football rosters. Thanks for circling back because you don't have any friends.

Actually on the topic of the thread, I think that the Auburn QB was told to either play QB or pound sand by someone involved with the Senior Bowl. As long as JT conveys that he is interested in playing another position before his Senior season is over, games like the Senior Bowl will allow him to do so.

I think that was his point.

no, he was contrasting the roster - which is often fudged; with something that is immutable - and he chose the Bible. which was a bad choice, since it also has been altered over time

i dont think you think too good

JT has pretty much zero chance of ever player QB in the NFL. Too small, probably not quite strong enough an arm (NFL ball is bigger) and too unproven as an every-down passer. The fact that Nick Marshall, who has sufficient size, a cannon for an arm that would probably be top 5 in the NFL, and who has put up pretty big passing numbers in college, is changing positions for a shot in the NFL should tell you something. It doesnt really matter if JT theoretically could pull it off athletically, because no team would ever give him a chance at QB.

All that said, JT has elite speed and quickness and is certainly athletic enough to make the switch to either CB or receiver. He could potentially be a return specialist as well. It's never easy to switch positions going into the NFL, but if JT plays well and stays relevant the next couple of years, he will get some looks and possibly a combine invite to show off his speed. Anything can happen from there. Maybe he's the next Wes Welker, and maybe he has bricks for hands...hard to know until he is put through the paces at a new position. But yes, Im sure he will try like Marshall.

I actually thought his use of the ellipsis was an indicator of sarcasm. Is my Sarcasm Detector broken?

no, your meter is not broken

he was using sarcasm in saying the roster was the Bible. he was sarcastically saying that the roster is absolutely correct (since he was contesting my citing the roster of JT being 185, which incidentally is pretty close to his actual weight)

there was sarcasm but it was in reference to the accuracy of the roster, not the accuracy of the bible

it wouldnt be sarcasm if he also thought the bible was often fudged, because then it would be an actual comparison not a sarcastic one

i got a 790/800 on the english portion of my SAT, you can trust me on this you know it, the foreigner has the best english comprehension

Not so well, either.
