What the nad lickers are thinking about right now!

I've talked to four of my friends around east cobb who went there and they are not happy.

Some guy called in on 790 and said something to the effect of "we don't care who Tech signs, they'll still have a losing record against us"

Keep talking asshole.

I heard that guy. There was a Tech fan that came on a couple of callers later that said something like "I'll show that guy a Tech-Georgia fight he won't win".

I've already had a couple of mutt coworkers call me - one is concerned and the other questions the triple option at the BCS conf level or what offense he'll implement if not the 3-O (I have the same questions)

Yeah that was great.

We had a Dawg posting her earlier. (Very respectful) He stated he did not want PJ. Did not want to see him in recruiting, game day, rankings, etc. His biggest concern was how PJ will convert fans especially in South Georgia. I would love to see the fans leave the dung pound.

He would rather see RN or TT because of their past reputation that is so questionable. I figured if we hired one of these, the next thing he would do is try and get us to hire Jan Kemp.

Posted on the Navy board by a UGA/GSU fan:

"
Just want to say...."what comes around goes around". Now you know how we felt 6 years ago.

He was never YOUR Johnson. He was OUR Johnson.

GSU (Erk Russel) in 1983 gave a jr college asst coach a chance to implement an offensive scheme that anyone else would have laughed at.

GSU gave Paul Johnson his first shot a HC.

PJ belongs in GA - I just wish it were back at GSU - where he is TRULY a legend!!

Welcome Home PJ. We can't wait to whooop them dawgs!! I don't care if it is with Georgia Wreck (wait, I'm a Tech fan now - OUCH).

I truly hope someone on PJs staff takes the Navy job. It will be like you guys are staying in the family. I would like to see the Paul John Spread Option offense live on.

(all this is assuming he does actually take the job)

Fan #1 already converted guys!

I can't "lick my nads", but I've said this here earlier, most of us UGA fans support Georgia Southern. Most of us like Paul Johnson and Chris Hatcher. Guys like me who have been lifelong fans of football in the state of Georgia and grew up here, have had close friends and family members that have coached at Georgia Southern, GT, UGA, Valdosta State, West Georgia, etc. Lots of us know someone close that has coached at Georgia Southern.

None of us are "scared" of Paul Johnson at GT. It's just an odd feeling to be happy for someone that's now coaching your biggest rival. That's why we did, but didn't want to see Johnson or Hatcher at GT. I'm happy for the guy and I think it's a great hire for GT. Finally, GT has made a coaching hire that seems to reach out to "common folk" in the state. Now, that doesn't mean GT is going to suddenly pick up 2 million more fans, but several thousand Georgia Southern fans now will support GT, instead of UGA, and add some GT gear to their closet.

Again, me and my buddies aren't scared that Johnson is going to beat UGA every season or reel off 7 in-a-row, but it is going to be odd to wish him success at GT. Except for 1 game a year.

But I do, and most of us that can read do, wish him success. Now it's time for me to say something ugly. I don't think it's going to change GT's luck with UGA much. I think GT will now win more frequently in the series simply because Johnson will make yall better, but Richt is still at UGA. Considering that everyone at ESPN thinks Hawaii is going to beat UGA handily and that I've heard some here say Richt is the "3rd best college coach in Georgia", you'd think UGA has packed up shop and given up. That's what people do though.

This is and should be a big day for GT. One of my favorite GT coaches of all time is gone. Yall have a lot to look forward to. I either want GT to win zero games a season or be undefeated rolling into the 4th Saturday in November. Now that Paul Johnson is calling the shots for yall, I prefer the latter.

Yeah there are a couple of doggie fans at work, sweating their nads off too. However, they're licking them dry...

No, I can't say I've done that either.

Open question.

If one could lick their own nads, would it be "gay" if they actually did?

hehheh......

"That dog'd BITE YOUUUUUUU!!!!!"

Classic Lewis. ;-)

I just realized that with PJ at the helm (GSU ties, southerner), running Nesbitt at QB with Dwyer/Roddy Jones and Bebe/G. Smith + Chris Jackson, we would have all young homegrown talent operating an exciting, potent offense.

This can only help recruiting (the biggest question mark entering the PJ era) as kids will see players from their HS's getting early playing time in a successful offense. And, yes, we'll steal some recruits from the gaggers who feel like they've locked down the state of GA...

Its too bad Mike Cox is gone next year. I always wanted to see him run the ball, and under PJ, he probably would've had his number called many more times

I would take the position that licking your own nads would be a very manly thing, unlike licking someone else's nads.

I don't know about the Georgie fans, and I don't care about what they think, but I am quite sure that Mark Richt is not worried at all. I sure wouldn't be if I were him.

As opposed to those acquired via trades or free agency?

Oh, you mean from GA. I guess that phrase does mean something different in college football than in pro baseball :laugher:
