as our next head coach. The biggest negative I see is that he does not have any head coaching experience. I am not saying you have to have experience but it does seem to help.

I watched the UF-LSU game the other night with all my family who are BIG gator fans as you might expect living this close to Gainesville.

It is a known fact here that Dan calls ALL the plays offensively. At one point Saturday night he lined up in a wild formation with almost everyone lined up on the right side of the line of scrimmage. The play was a complete bust. The TV flashed to Urban Meyer and you could definately tell he was not a happy camper. Needless to say UF did not use the formation again. That was one of the few times I saw Meyer with the headset down and talking. He wears it with microphone up most of time. He lets his coaches COACH which draws him a lot of praise here in Gator Land. UF does use Meyer's Utah offense, but let me remind you if you do not know that Mullen was with him at Utah and was taught that offense.

A head coaching job is all about surrounding yourself with good coaches who are better TEACHERS. Meyer has done this everywhere he has been and has been successful. I would think that Mullen would learn well from the teacher and carry that forward to his own head coaching experience.

Bottom line is the Head coach HAS to let his coaches COACH!!!
