I think that we have a good staff in place. But HC is handcuffing the whole thing by leaving in Ball. Ball HAS to go! If Gailey, after FOUR YEARS!!! can't see that Ball sucks, then HE needs to go too. This is retarded.

I'll be honest, when Ball "limped" off the field in the first half, there was a part of me that was hoping it was serious...

RB stinks. that is on the money. Don't wish ill well on the man. Coaching is responsible for replacing positions that don't perform. I went to the 1990 Citrus Bowl. This is disgraceful to GT football.

season's over. what does it matter now?

gailey's stubbornness and resistance to change have been already well documented. he's going nowhere. the administration tolerates near-mediocrity. thus, we'll continue to suffer as fans.

Be careful. When they come out of hiding you'll get what's coming to you!! -)

Chan is killing the spirit all everyone(coaches, players, fans) by leaving Bal lout there with him struggling so much.

When Ball starts to struggle early, his game goes south VERY quickly. EVERYTIME, EVERYTIME. Everyone knows this. Take him out, calm him down, put him back out there. Why is that so FREAKING hard to do???????

I'm pissed for our guys working so hard all damn year and having to go through the last two games, just because of a couple of players/coaches pride got in their way.

Chan and his idiot staff will be here again next season.Do you think we can go ahead and except an invitation to the Nut Bowl ever year before the season starts?

 suffer is an understatement, but you are on to something.

Problem is, season isn't over. This is not the last time we will see RB. He will start next game, and with even more pressure, he will do just as horrible. Our coaches, whether it be stubborness or just honoring the guy who has been here so long, will not bench him. We will suffer once more, and end up 9-5. A far cry from 11-3, Conference Champs, BCS game winners. Ball will go down as the most hated successful QB in GT history, and Gailey will follow the same path.

I feel bad for this team. They had the talent, they had the desire, and the combination of one position and coaching held them from their championship.

I certainly don't hate either one. However, they both share the common characteristic of producing more talk than constructive action. Neither one is capable of taking the Tech football program to the next level and that's unfortunate for the university. Looks like we really need to keep scheduling the Samfords and Elons if we want to keep winning every year. ;)

For all intents and purposes, this season is over for most tech fans (just like it has been over pre-bowl since chan has been here).

Finally someone hits the nail on the head. If bobble head does not get the job done in the first quarter of the Gator bowl then Chan should bench him in favor of Bennet & Garner. Five years of lousy quarterbacks has got to stop now & start getting ready for next year. Reggie is 15 for 51 with 4 int's & one fumble in the last two games & we have no chance to win the Gator Bowl with this type of performance. Reggie needs to thank the defense for bailing his butt out in the UNC game.

The ironic thing about yesterday was that Wake played 2 QBs; one for passing and one for running.

Reggie could have been an effective weapon this year and yesterday if he was utilized correctly; similar to Leak/Tebow, who gladly share playing time with confidence.

Chan is a good coach and has the program in the right direction, but staying with one player has now proven to be a bad decision.
He has stuck with one player at the expense of the other players, especially the seniors. This decision has not honored Reggie. It has only put more pressure on him and kept him in a funk.
I believe it would('ve) help(ed) Reggie and the team, to pull him for any period of time; a half, or a quarter or even a series.

Hated indeed, but successful? Success would at least imply a .500 or better record against UGA dude. That chump is no success.
