If I were AD I would:
1. Sit down with Gailey at the end of the year (after the bowl game) and find out his thoughts on how to get better QB and offense play. If I thought he had a reasonable, new plan, I'd give him another year. If not, if I felt a better coach was available, I'd make the move.
2. For now, I'd be busting my ass on the phone, with media, etc trying to lobby Nashville and arguing we can be a better team for them than FSU. They have the same record as we have. We ought to try to get the best bowl for our players and fans.
3. To have us go to the Nut Bowl with an interim coach is so unfair to coaches, players, and fans. And, waiting to January is more likely to have you looking for a new coach at a better time than now, when successful teams are preparing for their bowls.

I would have done #1 w/ Gailey last year.

I would rather see us go to the Nut Bowl w/ Tenuta as HC than go to Nashville w/ Gailey as HC.

I think if Tenuta were getting a shot at the head spot, it would have already happened.

I don't think you can wait until either our bowl game or Jan if you're going to make a move. If you do, the picking will be slim and most of recruiting season will be over. If we're making a move the sooner the better.

If a move is to be made --DRad, I would think, has already made up his mind and will/should do so early next week. If nothing is said/done next week --then I don't expect a move to be made.

Then again I've never been an A.D. --but if you are going to make a change --why would you wait?

If I were AD, I would have met Chan under the goal posts after this latest debacle and told him to get his sorry ass out of town because he was through as head coach
