I will be disappointed because we are finally getting depth on the team and a stellar recruiting class coming in- both of which will be disrupted by having to hire a new coach, no matter who it is.

However, if he does leave, I'll wish him the best of luck and fully support his successor, no matter who it may be (unless it's BOR! :D).

Unfortunately there are those who will continue to run down the coach, even after he's gone, and if the coach THEY want isn't hired, they'll go after him as well. And just wait until the first loss! I post this after reading some of the venom posted on BO for the first time in a long time. It's gotten worse. Now they are saying that the players Gailey has recruited are of low character.

If he goes we will have a very short list. My guess is JT and KW. I would like to see Paul Johnson on the list as well. Understand Georgia recruiting and is smart enough to change his offense by adding a passing game at GT.

why? you must love Bowl and UGA losses, five loss seasons along with continual top 25 avoidances. Its been the SAME every since he arrived... (I better quit posting as Miami might see this)

GAILEY IS THE BEST! He took a program that was ranked three years in a row in the top 20 and...and... and....

That's ranked 5 years in a row BC.

There's no way we would get KW because he is going to get $3M+ to coach in the NFL and will likely have his choice of some pretty choice HC positions.

We will be better shape than most teams if CG leaves because we have a strong in house candidate and the strong recruiting class should be a plus for an incoming coach.

You're assuming they'll sign after the news of CG leaving. IF he had as big a part in the recruiting as most have said, chances are we'll lose at least a few. Signing day is still two weeks off.

piss on you, asshole.

answer the goddamn question I've asked you repeatedly or shut your yap.

If Chan leaves..........

And it takes Tech a couple of weeks to find a new coach we will not be holding on to ll the players in this recruiting class. Rest assured there would be fallout.

you REALLY need to use the ignore user function...you will find it quite helpful.

It is just like have a good spam filter on your email account!

You see coaches change all the time and recruiting classes do not fall apart except when the incoming coach does not recruit at all ala CG. Recruiting is done. Can you name one program that lost a significant number of recruits due to a coaching change? I can think of one honestly Spurrier at SC because he did not like the Holtz recruits and then I think he only lost 4 or 5 on purpose.

I bet our list will be longer than that. Remember DRad has ties with LSU so I would check into who their coordinators are (Jimbo Fisher?), or who might have been there in the previous staff.

Chan isn't leaving and until he has a full compliment of players we really don't know how good his teams can be. Give it some more time folks (and yes, I thought he made poor decisions about Reggie).

But if he did, we would be dumber than stupid to not hire Jon Tenuta. He's ready and he's here and things are going pretty good, so why do a lot of changing?

Jimbo Fisher will be the OC at Alabama

LOL mid...

Have you read the sky is falling posts from some of the pure idiot posters around here? Things are HORRIBLE. If you don't believe me wait three seconds and geepee will tell you so!

Oh I forgot, GEETEELEE has called him out so he will disappear briefly and avoid having to once and for all prove his hipocrasy.

Please don't quote geetee in your posts...I have him on ignore, and I don't want to read his BS. :)

I think he is saying Fisher would be a HC candidate for Tech because of D Rad's ties to LSU. I would hope the HC job at Tech is better than a coordinator job, even one at Bama.

Exactly. Fisher would be a fool to assume he'd get the FSU job unless he has it in writing. And even then he better have a penalty clause written in. Short of that, if he's offered a HC job at a school like Tech he should jump at it versus and OC position.
