Do you think he leaves?

Personally, I think he wants to retire here.

If?

What is this "If" you speak of? I would like to learn more about this... how you say... "If."

:p

The only way he would leave is if he wanted to hit another ceiling. I don't think his offense would fit at the next level. So yes I think he would stay here as long as wanted.

Wow, the guy hasn't coached a game here yet and there's already speculation about him leaving? That was some short honeymoon! :)

Just kidding ;)

Isn't that what everyone said about him coming here from Navy?

Personally I think PJ is such a good fit for GT and wouldn't want to leave providing that he is as successful as he wants to be.

If he's here winning MNCs then why would he want to leave anyway?

:fingersx: Here's to hoping GT is the next FSU of the ACC

People are worried about him leaving now. After year 1, they'll probably be trying to kick his arse out the door.

This move will likely pay off down the road but it's not going to be a seemless transition.

So who are we going to hire when PJ leaves? lol

If he is successfull I think he will stay here due to his offense, but who knows, given the current offensive trends in CFB these days the spread option might probably be more common in the future that you think.

PJ Loves the state of Georgia, if he can win it all here, i'm sure he'd stay up into his late 60's if he can keep winning and everyone stays happy with him.

It's getting pretty common now. Most teams run at least some version of it, even if only in special situations.

Chris Hatcher will also know how to turn a option team into an Air Raid team, he is doing so right now at GSU. Seems like the perfect "next" coach.

Paul Johnson could be our Bobby Bowden.

Similar age, opportunity, and similar innovative offensive type coach back when Bowden took over at FSU. Many similarities.

(Yes, My Gold colored glasses are firmly on)

IF CPJ is successful at Tech, this will be the next level and he will have proven that his offense fits.

The only thing that will make him want to leave is IF we can not pay him. So, get off the damn message boards and get your collective asses back to work. We're going to need more than a handful of 80-year old ex-football players footing the bill to keep this train rolling.:D
