What will become of our current staff?

Who will his coaching assistants be?

Who pays for their housing?

So those are questions that will have to be answered if PJ sings on the dotted line....

I expect the recruiting coach to stay, I think he played @ GSU the same time while Johnson was there.

Apparently johnson is extremely loyal to his staff, correct? Please tell me that does not include his DC!

If we dont keep Giff, things will take a step back for awhile, he is priority #1. Bringing Collins back would be a big boost as well. Tenuta's salary just went over to PJ.

I think this makes it overwhelmingly likely that Giff Smith stays--he was captain of the GSU NC team when PJ was the OC under Erk (1990).

I'm hopeful that this is true. Maybe we can keep Giff for many years now.

Dem,
What you think % PJ is going to sign the dotted line?
% Chance that we retain G. Smith & will he be DC or Recruiting Cordinator....

Yes PJ calls the plays, he can draw up a play in the dirt if need be, he is quite an amazing offensive mind.

Most of Navy's staff appears to have ties to Navy with the exception of the following:

Danny O'Rourke - LB Coach

Brian Bohannon - WR Coach

Brian is a UGA grad and played back in the 1990s. Danny is a Lawrenceville boy and played ball at Central Gwinnett and West Georgia. I grew up playing ball and going to school with him and have known him for years. I haven't heard yet if he is coming with PJ to GT if PJ does come. Danny had to join the Navy and be commissioned to take the job there. He's another reason why I'll support his success all but 1 time a season, if he does come with Paul Johnson.

I hope Danny gets to move close to home.

Brian Bohannon is from Griffin , Ga. son of the legendary Griffin high coach Lloyd Bohannon

PJ likes to call the offense himself. However if he could talk CH into coming to GT as OC... It would be a great career move for him as well.

Hopefully will see Giff at DC. (As long as it does not interfere with his more important duty.)

Lil Joe is begging to coach the QB's.

Personally I would like to see TR back coaching the LB's.

Not sure past these.

PJ - GREAT HIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Among the existing staff, Navy's staff, people who want to coach under PJ and other available coaching talent, look for an excellent Tech coaching staff to be recruited.
