1) Would our academics be as good as they are?
2) Would we be winning?
3) How big would our fanbase be?

You would need to get in line behind Savannah State. The spillover fan could get a seat at the 50:D

Savannah is not a sports town. They lost the AA Braves to Greenville years ago from lack of attendance.

I agree. We would be better in columbus or macon then we would savannah.

I went to school in columbus and its an awful sports town! Plus it would Tech because Auburn is so close

Somebody is running out of thread ideas.

How many of you wish that was true, am I right?

If Georgia Tech were not an engineering school and
If Georgia Tech were located in a smaller town and
If Georgia Tech had a larger student enrollment

would we still have such idiotic banter on this message board?

I'll play along. It is July 9th, afterall....

Well, Savannah State sure sucks. Noone goes to their games. And GA Southern ain't too far away.

Nevermind, this is stupid as hell.

No, no, and smaller.

Part of the reason Tech is successful as an Institution, IMHO, is because it's in a large, dynamic city. If you read about the history of Tech and the reasons behind its founding you'll realize it's in Atlanta for a reason.

Savannah? I think TECH is right where it should be but may have stood a good chance in S. Georgia. Thomasville to Valdosta, anywhere within that neck of the woods. Big school. Old tradition. South Ga engineering outpost.
