And if we have not yet, the football program will fall below the b*** l**** years of the early ‘90’s. I never thought something of this magnitude would ever happen on The Flats, but our worst fear is that we are there with no end in sight due to the numbers of the buyout in this coaches contract. My personal opinion is that this is completely on the hands of the AD. Unless major changes are made to this staff during the off season, then the entire athletic department should be relieved of their duties.

Lewis was a football coach. He had serious issues but he knew how to coach. I had a long convo with him at the Army-Navy club in Arlington after he was hired and came away thinking - we are going to kill people.

No one understood his inability to manage a roster. That's what did us in.

Collins can manage a roster probably better than anyone since Dodd. But, o m g does he suck as a football coach.

Then he should be made to hire competent coaches on his staff.

So when Tstan was interviewing Collins - and I've asked this before- how did Tstan not pick up on Collins' complete lack of either "Xs and Os" or how to manage a game?

I mean when I interview people, I present scenarios and ask the candidate how they would respond. I can easily tell who to hire or not based on their responses.

What was Collins' interview like?

Sounds like Tstan is as bad at picking coaches as Collins is at actually coaching.

How the hell did tStan make it more than 5 minutes with Phil Knight?

Personally, I think tstan bought into the marketing and branding ideas that this coach brought to the table during the process. I can’t see another reason why he hired him unless you go back and look at his successes as a DC in a couple of his stops.
