Walking back to the car after the game today, we passed a random group of Hokies. Then I heard an older Tech fan approach them and say “you guys let me down today - I wanted us to lose two more games so we could fire our coach.”

Way to celebrate a top-25 win, by pulling against your own team to the asshole opposition. Kill yourself, man.

Probably the old guy I sat beside in 103 for homecoming. He complained for 1.5 qtrs before leaving and didn't come back

Actually, we ARE kinda running an O that was, more or less, starting to be run 50 years ago. So, scratching head where hair once was.

Curious what hokie dreamers said to this GT fan?

And wonder why OP did not try and kill the other GT fan? Seems enamored with death.

Next time grow some hair on your chest and tell that old piece of shit to go öööö himself. Life is so much simpler when you confront shit people about their shit behavior to their face. It saves you trouble of being butthurt afterwards.

Didn’t hear much from the VPI fans, just kind of a noncommittal “yeah, I wish we had won” kind of thing. We were already walking out of earshot.

The “pull against your own team” thing was miserable under Gailey. I really hope it doesn’t come back into favor.
