to transfers how many scholarships can be offered and signed in February '17? I think I saw where we have 17 available???

Will someone explain the math to me on how we have 17-20 scholarships to offer every year while the factories have 25-30?

I think bio is right. I think Quinlan says we have 20 now with the departure of Marshall and Walker.

PJ has a much lower attrition rate in his total numbers when they figure classes. SEC and other large programs count on a larger number of attrition so they recruit higher numbers. Ergo Saban almost always has 3-4 grayshirts that eventually decommit late once they learn they are being grayshirted or the wait their turn. I dont think PJ has ever offered a grayshirt. PJ also leaves 2-3 slots open for walkons.

Better SA's tend to stay in school, stay eligible, and stay out of trouble. Plus we don't gray shirt and don't cut guys.

Marshall. I take it we haven't lost Mills yet.
Someone needs to tutor Mills. He needs life guidance that he will appreciate when he is 40. Especially when one of you rich ööööers hire him someday because of his GT education.

We will probably have couple early enrollees so won't count for 2017, we can take a bunch this recruiting cycle (if we wanted).

On top of not grayshirting, CPJ redshirts a *lot* of players. So they each get 5 years max on the roster, not 4. That alone would turn our class sizes into 80% the size of others, all other things being equal.

It's pretty evident that he was right about it. A steady flow of redshirted players makes for an internal experience farm, and we see many impact players arise from the pool of 2-3 star recruits.

Are we still honoring a 'ship to the kid from NC who was injured and unable to play?
