Every game this year would have been sold out.
Anyone who has been around awhile knows what an accomplishment that is and how far we have come. Every year attendance has gotten better. Our fan base keeps growing. It's pretty stunning to hear that in 1990, our MNC year, there were CONFERENCE games where only 25-30K showed up.
For those who disagreed with expansion the Maryland game on a Thursday night should be enough proof that the way our fan base is growing and with conference expansion it was the forward thinking thing to do. The stadium looked great on ESPN.
The true test will be if we are over 41,000 for Samford and UConn next year. I think we will be.
