I\'ll never forget Gordon\'s run... (other issues too)

Gordon Clinkscales run for that touchdown was perhaps the most incredible things that I have ever seen in my GT history. Here is Gordon, a fifth year senior, banned under O'L with a never say quit composition. Any normal human would have probably quit after his fourth season, especially after barely touching a football on the game field in quite a while. He is truly an inspiration. What field vision, instincts and determination he had on that run for the TD.

I don't know what feels the best, but the combination of them is euphoria. Tech wins when nobody thought we had a chance. Georgia loses!!!
It is a perfect weekend for me. I LLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEE it when ugag loses probably one of the biggest games in the MR tenure and recent memory. I loved it when that big dumb, big dude tried to pile drive that Fla. player into the ground RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FREAKING REFERREE!! Talk about stupid. Priceless. I am glad we don't have some of the rocket scientist players that they have.

Oh man, this feels so Good!!!!!!!!!!

NC State had a severe case of disrespect for Georgia Tech. Remember last year's slash the throat act by NCS players??? They got what they desparately needed yesterday. And that was a dose of humility. Way to go to the entire Georgia Tech football organization.

Chan, thanks for proving me wrong. Thanks for showing that you can get a team ready to play. Thanks for showing me that you are a winner. Thanks for winning with class, not the trash talk, in your face crap that NCS showed last year. I doubted that you could make GT a winner. I doubted that you could get your act together in the college game. I doubted that you could recruit. I just plain bought into the fact that you were going to take us back to the Bill Lewis days. Thanks for proving me wrong. It feels so good to be wrong about this one!!

Now is that enough crow?? I still say my criticisms of what I had seen up to the point I said them were as valid as anyones. Thanks for proving me wrong Chan.

Oh man, this feels GooD!!!!!! I lift my drink to Georgia Tech!

Your criticisms may be valid in your mind. However, yours along with many others shows a lack of understanding ofn the dynamics of a team sport such as football. Football is not played on a Sega machine...it involves human beings with emotions who have different reations to change. It would serve many of you on this board well to try and undesrtand that side of a team sport.

83J, you don't know me, so don't try to analyse me. Who the hell do you think you are? The master of the team concept of football and whatever you are trying to say. To say my opinions are not valid and yours are doesn't make it so. I will put my support of Georgia Tech both financially and any other way you want to up to yours anyday.

Fatjacket you don't know me either. It's comical when you throw out "your support of Tech football" as a means to try and validate your opinion. My opinion is that based on your opinions put out on this board that you don't know much about the dynamics of a team sport irrespective of your support of GT sports. Just as you are entiltled to your opinion I am entitled to mine.

Enough is enough. I didn't expect to get attacked about not knowing of the dynamics of a team sport such as football. I played high school football for 3 years and high school basketball for 4. I think I understand the dynamics of team sports and their reaction to change. I usually try to take the high road, but 83j erked me. He is saying that anyone who criticised Coach Gailey or the team had no understanding of team sports. He is wrong. He found it comical that I would mention my support of Tech into the argument. Well, maybe it is not relevant to him. I am not a fly by night, bandwagon jumping, fair weather fan. I am an GT allumni who has followed GT all of my life. I have had football season tickets for 25 years and basketball for 20. I donate to the AT. I love Georgia Tech no matter what. That is the bottom line and I will say no more. Sorry for the waste of bandwidth. Go Jackets!!

FatJacket, don't let others suppress your opinions. Your opinions are just as valid as ours. Many people will try to bully their way through to suppress other's ideas.

Don't let a few bully you. Keep posting your ideas regardless of the bullying. If you get our of line God (BeStorm/GTFan) will let you know. Other than that you are free to post as you wish. If you let them suppress your ideas, a voice of reason may be lost to the board.
