I\'m confused. Is Manget record still going?

I thought the missed PAT last week was not an official attempt and therefore his streak is still intact. But CBS Sportsline says his streak has ended at 141. Has there been an official ruling on this?

Streak is alive. It would have to be blocked or an outright miss to end the streak. A bad snap counts as a rushing play (in that case, a failed 2-point conversion).

I think CBS sportsline is in error. He did not attempt to kick that one...he basically recovered a fumble. The streak is still on at 142 and counting.

I certainly hope this common sense reasoning holds true. Although I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the NCAA did not see it this way.

I read and heard on TV that it was ruled a fumble, and not a PAT attempt. So the streak is alive.
