The names Chan and Reggie. PJ IS NOT CHAN GAILEY. HE IS A HELLUVA LOT BETTER. Also Nesbitt is not Reggie. That is crap. The kid hasnt even started for a full year and you already compare him to Ball. That is insane. Guys just sit back and relax. This is year 1 under PJ. We will get better.

Who's comparing him to Reggie? I mean, besides beej?

Not sure who was comparing him to RB but I do remember seeing it.

I completely agree with the OP. Whenever anything goes wrong it seems like there is always a reference to Chan's teams.

That is all in the past, and I dont understand why it is ever brought up. We are not the same team that we have been in years past. CPJ has this program moving in the right direction, and I am damn happy to be a Jacket.

I'll compare Nesbitt to Ball, because if Reggie could have been coached by PJ and played in an offense like PJ's, he would have been damn good.

Reggie was not a pro-style QB, which is not his fault. I get tired of the idiots who blame Reggie for a system that did not fit his strengths, for poor OL play, and horrible WR coaching by Buddy Geis, perhaps the worst assistant in the history of GT football. T

he typical fan's analysis is "blame the QB and/or the coach" if we lose, and that is all he knows. Everytime I see someone on this board blame Reggie, they may as well post "I am a football moron."

People who attack Nesbitt are also morons. He was playing hurt, and GT puts up 423 yards of offense. But immediately after game people start attacking Nesbitt. Those people are idiots who only watch the ball and do not understand that 10 other guys have to do their jobs, and yesterday it was easy to find 4-9 other guys on any given play not doing their jobs. Nesbitt and Dwyer were the only guys who consistently gave their all, yet idiots want to attack Nesbitt because they are idiots who only watch the ball.

Whether or not Reggie was suited for the offense, you're just as big a moron if you don't acknowlege the fact that he made some truly bad plays during his time here, that you can't write off on someone else. Granted, he also made some really good ones, but in many people's eyes, the bad ones outweighed the good ones, mostly due to when they happened (u[sic]ga games, ACCCG, etc)

If anyone ever thinks our QB situation is bad in a first year, just look at LSU. We're in good hands in all facets of the team. Go Jackets!
