When georgia tech hires a new coach, you cant absolutely expect that we are going to make a BCS bowl. Bobby Ross in his first season had a losing record and wha happened after 2 years? um.. I think that we won the national championship. And now because of Aj.J. Suggs we have lost two games and you are going to blame it on gailey. Well dont because the only reason why we lost against wake at home was because of Suggs and Tenuta. Worst game of playcalling I have seen in a good while. He needs to adjust our defense for the best. Bilbo needs to start**
 
Whose responsibility is to get stuck with a two minute offense that did not function?
It is the same as a prevent defense that gets you beat. You are right! Why not continue with the offense that put us ahead ?
 
There is a huge difference between the teams our other head coaches have inherited and the one Gailey inherited. Gailey has inherited the best team a coach has ever inherited at GT. We were not a team that had been losing and was without talent.

We had a program that had been wining, and we have some of the best talent we have ever had at Tech. There is no way to compare the other coache's first year to that of Gailey. If we share the blame equally at this point, Gailey, O'Brien, Tenuta have all failed miserably from the Clemson game up to now.

Let's stand up and face reality. No way to gloss this over and make excuses for it.

If our tallent is so great and our present coaching staff is so bad what happened to our team last year with better tallent Godsey Cambell ect. and we lost several very winnable games. I believe we have improved in every way except at quarterback be cause Godsey is not easy to be replaced and Suggs doesn't have what it takes at this time and Bilbo is not ready we have not been able to win yet but we are on the right path and will do so just give them time all will be o.k. just my opinion.
 
guys .. we have two losses .. and i see one glaring similarity. when the game was on the line, we had a chance to finish it off and win it by executing a 2 minute drive.

in both the games, AJ was given the ball.

in the clemson game, the first play of the first series in the drill almost led to an interception. finally, the two minute drill did end with an interception anyways and it was over.

yesterday, we got the ball on our own 35, drove down impressively with AJ to their 40 or so. then the quarterback play went horribly wrong. the illegal forward pass was just BAD. the quarterback could have easily gotten 5 +ve yards if he had tucked it and run in and he would have also been able to get out of bounds. instead it turned into a 3rd and 15.

hopefully, in the 10 days that we have till our next game, we give bilbo lots more reps and the coaches, especially the offensive co-ordinator and the quarterback coach, and have him as our starter. if they still do not start him, hopefully bilbo gets substantial playing time.

very frustrating to see a young man come into the game and excel and then be benched. the frustrating part is that the starter isn't getting it done.

The reason we lost is the 430+ yards Wake rolled up. That was due to a lack of game prep and no adjustments at the half. Funny... Wake beat UNC with Tenuta last year as well.

Methinks Tenuta has never played against the Wishbone cause those LB's were not playing sound ball Saturday against it.

O'Leary leaves the cupboard pretty full with some of the best recruiting classes I've seen in 28 years.
Gailey takes over and says, "he wanted to go to an established program and didn't want to build anything".
He's definitely is not enhancing anything in this established program. And I have a real fear for our future under this guy!
 
D-man, Losing to WAKE on your home field as 13 pt favorites gets people riled.The talent/exp level here now is much superior to what Ross had.There is NO comparison.
I expected to "muddle "through the season with a low key OFF and a decent DEF but not playing Bilbo is DUMB.
