I'm usually frothing at the mouth on CFB opening day

... but today's slate of games doesnt do much for me. I'm definitely watching the USF @SJSU game but that's a local-only interest type of game. The early game, OSU @CSU seems like the best game of the day and I'm not sure I would watch that game normally on any given saturday. This has to be the *least* excited I've ever been on opening day.

That's because this isn't the real opening weekend. This is a bunch of low level teams which jumped the gun for exposure and no one cares.
 
I'm putting Chattanooga/Jacksonville St. on the DVR (6:30 pm ESPN). Need to see if Jax St. will give us trouble. They will have 2 weeks to rest and prepare for our game, while Tech plays them 5 days after UT.

This. It's just a chance for ESPN and CBS to scare up ratings, albeit ever so slightly, on what is otherwise just another summer Saturday.

I don't think UTC will be very good this season. Coaching and AD turnover. Go MOCS!!!1

Best game of the day is probably Cartersville vs Bartram Trail on ESPN2 later
 
I thought I would ignore all the games today, but who am I kidding, it's college football.

My plan:
2:30pm Oregon State @ Colorado State
Colorado State 4 point home favorite, should be a decent game.

7:30pm South Florida @ San Jose State
Watch some Charlie Strong football!

10:00pm Stanford at Rice
If still awake, fall asleep watching this...

And beer, lotsa beer...
