Imagine traveling 3000 miles and then losing on a last second fg

Then traveling 3000 miles back sitting in last place in the conference you think you're too good for
It's a looooooooong way down to the basement. How y'all doin down there?

Oh and FSU lucked out on the first half FG that, after totally mismanaging the clock they still managed to end their run with 1 second left on the clock. If the guy breaks a tackle the half is over.

Seemed like the half was over clock read 0:00 for awhile

I’m guessing that you can’t challenge based on the clock. If so, Key should have challenged that.

The whistle was blowing with 1 or 2 seconds left, so I'm guessing it was a clock operator issue with the clock running down to zero. The play definitely didn't take nine seconds, and I'd assume Norvell was ready to get the timeout immediately.

We had two poor offensive possessions, otherwise masterful. Offensive line dominated. The defensive front looks objectively significantly improved. Efford looks like he took the next step forward. Brent managed an exceptional ball game. Key has preached toughness since he took over for the Pitt game. He has repeated it, but not in an annoying high level elite juice kind of way. He’s backing that up with a team that plays objectively tough and controls both lines. This is how championship teams are formed. We may not win one under Key, but he knows what he is doing.

Serious question, though: was Singleton actually down in bounds? Still would've won, just asking.
