I wouldn't put a lot of stock in this. Agendas and undisclosed interests abound.

If I’m not mistaken, IMG recruits players like most private schools do that have powerhouse programs. Plus, IMG strikes me as a sports first school whereas most private schools actually have good academics.

IMG is not really an education institution. It is a year-long NBA and NFL training camp, sponsored by sports agents.

We're not in Kansas anymore.

The kids take classes online and tests online. They're done with "school" by about 12, 12:30 and the rest of the day is their specific sport. Had a coach who lost a kid to IMG tell me that. (Kid had a dozen ACC/SEC offers as a freshman. Wound up signing with a G5 after leaving IMG for another school in Florida)
Most other Florida high schools refuse to play them.
