Important Questions Concerning Bowls...

1) Do you think the Seattle Bowl will go on as planned or canceled?

2) If you are Georgia Tech and are offered a trip to Seattle, do you accept the invitation or not?

3)If Chan were to leave, who, in your opionion would be a good candidate to caoch on the Flats?

4) Would you change our uniforms if you could and if so what would your uni look like?

I'm just curious to see what different people's opinions are about some important issues right now. Thanks.

1. Yes. Seattle sent in their necessary money today.
2. Definately accept the bid. The team doesn't need to spend the entire offseason with the UGA loss in their mouth.
3. Probably would go with Charlie Strong or the guy from VT (can't remember his name). Both seem like good candidates who are young and hungry. Although, I'm not suggesting that Gailey leave either.
4. I'd go with the navy blue unis for home games and white for away. I know most people don't like the blue but I think it looked sharp.

since there is now a gaurantee that Iowa will go to a BCS game we will most likely go to Seattle bowl since ND is going to the gator.
Only exceptions..
#1. Miami loses to VT --then Georgia goes to Fiesta and Miami bumbs USC out of top 4 in BCS standings

#2. UCLA beats Washington St. - USC wins PAC 10 and ND gets at-large

If #1 or #2 happens we go to Tire most likely

GTPilot, I agree. I thin it should become a tradition that on Homecoming we should wear the Gold hats, blue jerseys, and white pants from 1990. Also, I think we should wear our white hats with the yellow GT occasionally. However, I also like the Gold hats, gold jerseys and white pants that we wore against Wake this year and 2000, Gator Bowl vs. Miami, and Boston College in '98. We have great colors.
A GT-Oregon matchup is very intriguing, if it should happen.

tire bowl to me since i live 20 minutes from charlotte sounds like the better choice. would there be any real positives in going to seattle over charlotte????????

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">I'll agree to that. If the uniform designers can make a navy uniform using the same fonts, style, and trim as the white ones, I think they could look pretty sharp. Also, the digits on the gold uniforms need updating. They're from the 2000 season.

More importantly though, I think we need to fire somebody. I'm not talking about Chan or Dave. I'm talking about the moron who keeps buying the nacho cheese colored spray paint for the football field! Somebody please get the PPG paint code for "old gold."

What is this fixation w/ navy jerseys? The gold jerseys,like we wore when we kicked the leprechauns asses in the Gator Bowl, white pants and gold helmets are Great Looking and are true to our traditional colors! Navy is ok for a trim or piping but I want to wear something that is almost unmistakable! I am a TECH man dammit, and proud of it!
