:biggthumpup:I am impressed that DRad took the time in the midst of what's going to contact each recruit to personally try to calm the waters & to let them know what's going on....Great personal touch in my opinion...He could've just wrote it off as collateral damage & said we would just have to make it up next year....Impressive!
from AJC "...who will be hired as the next head coach. Their first source for inside information in the first 12 hours after Gailey's firing was athletics director Dan Radakovich, who called them."

I am encouraged when demjackets says how DRAD works harder than any other AD in the country (I am sure it's his PERSONAL OPINION) But from what I have seen the man is on TOP OF HIS JOB!

I hope that I am equally or even more impressed w/ the decision for the next HC at GT....
I do hope that it will be swift & the right person is hired...I don't want it to turn into a cat & mouse game...Only to see current HC using it as leverage for a raise at their current jobs like what happened at Alabama last year w/ some of their candidates.....Anyway, gonna be a interesting ride....
I just wonder who GT can afford w/ the current debt & Gailey's severence pay.....But I am sure the people in charge considered that LONG before a final decision was made to cut Gailey loose....So I do know one thing for sure we will have a new HC ....May they hire the right man for the job!:fingersx::bowdown: GO JACKETS & DRAD continue to make us proud w/ this process!

He has to appease all the recruits a buy the time needed to get a coach in there that can later reconnect with the kids, all before the dead period which starts Dec 19 (if I'm not mistaken). The clock is ticking and there are many recruits on the fence specially the lineman we need, this has me very worried. :ugh:
