Below are the the results of the 1963 season. Georgia Tech lead the series against Georgia 27-26-5. If you had told a Tech fan from 1963 that out of the next 57 GT/UGA games, Tech would win 14 and UGA would win 43, I expect they would have thought you were nuts. So what would you tell them caused the lopsided results the next 57 games.?

What is the point of this thread? Do we really need to talk about how much better U[sic]GA is than us during hate week?
 
Hard to believe I’ve been alive for more than half of the games. I guess I jinxed Tech, I was born the year of the drought breaker, Theron Sapp, in 1957.
 
I'd say that's about the time when college football started to shift toward bringing in players that had no business being in college and offering them majors where they could hide. Tech has been way behind in adopting that formula. Now that we've made a few steps in that direction we find ourselves far behind in the financial race and it looks like that is only going to get worse.
