In honor of uga\'s 25th anniversry,

790 the zone (our flagship) has devoted the day to the dogs. How sweet.

Anyway, it made me think.
At the great football factory up the street, they speak of their one championship as if this were familiar territory for them.
When it comes to expectations of our program versus theirs, has uga met or exceeded program expectations more or less often than Ga. Tech in the last 25 years?
I realize this question is completely subjective, and it depends on who you ask.

I would say that both programs have underachieved, but uga to a larger extent.

Re: In honor of uga\'s 25th anniversry,

Ok, I will take a crack at it since I have been a Tech fan for about 40 years. Georgia overachieved during the early part of Dooley's reign but has more or less underachieved since then especially during the 90s. Tech has forever been up and down but given the perenially (spelling?) low recruiting rankings has pretty much overachieved in a manner that probably bewilders the recruiting "experts" That 's my take on it I am sure others will differ.
