Mof2, another option would be to see if anybody you know has XM radio. They broadcast the ACC games. Granted you'll have to listen to the UNC call of the game but since Woody sounds just like Wes (I guess since Woody is the sire I should say that Wes sounds just like Woody) it won't be too bad.

Ok, I had to look up where Chiefland, FL was. Mover2, you must grow oranges or something because you couldn't find a more remote place in the state of Florida. Do you have to go to Crystal River for groceries?

You can do the ESPN Gameplan online for about $20 for one week. Of course that's assuming that the wire between the two cups is pulled tight. ;)

In order to get the games on TV, yes you have to purchase the entire package. I believe there is an online option which is cheaper, but of course it is online and will not have the same quality. Gameplan is over $100 but you will get extra games for the rest of the year that you normally wouldn't get so if you're into watching a lot of college football, it might be a good investment.

Anyways I am glad to help and I don't believe RM1 saying that you are cheap. Good luck on watching the game.

:p Mover2,

Ok, no more shots. I have had Dish, Directv, and Comcast over the last three to four years.

Dish Network is the only one that will allow you to purchase by the week. Some other cable companies may allow you to also. On Dish, it's $21.95 for the week.

I chose not to buy the season after the ESPNU debacle. Gameplan does not give you games broadcast on the U (Maryland and NC State this year).

What a dang shot!!! Remote can be good at times you know. And so you will know we do not go to Crystal River for groceries we either KILL it or GROW it. :wow:

And so you will ALSO know.....:laugher: we use tin cups for better conductivity. Paper does not work worth a darn in the rain down here. (DAMN can you believe that vocabulary for a remote florida boy!!!)

Yo Mover!!! Once again you are blowing open that spout of yours without anything to say.

Serve THIS!!!!!!!

The only reason I suggested Crystal River is because I know they used to have a Piggly Wiggly.

If you haven't done it, swimming with the Manatees at Crystal River during the winter is cool. Think of an animal about five times the size of Mover that turns around so that you can scratch it's belly. Nevermind, maybe it's too much like taking a bath with your brother.;)

I'm kidding Mover, but I can take the expected abuse.
