It just looks like Wayne Riles back is not holding up as he can play in punt coverage, but little else....as we played AJ Smith and David Brown as George Coopers back-ups yesterday. I was hoping Riles would start next year, but one has to wonder if he becomes a medical schollie next year.
Wrotto's injury yesterday is not threatening his ability to play against UGA Saturday. Lonowski is obviously still out...you have to wonder if he becomes a medial casualty before spring.
The big ones are Michael Matthews and Mike Cox. Our only FB, Cox will still be 'questionnable' against UGA. Matthews is Cox's backup at FB....and it is probable that he will be listed as 'out' against UGA. This is not a good situation....Cox is an important part of our running game...and both he and Matthews tend to make some critical play catches (3rd down) on flare passes. Lets hope they heal quick.
Elris Anyaibe, one of 2 backup DT's, is 'out' against UGA. Not sure on Tyler Evans.
