I find it interesting that when the Valdosta Coach discussed their upcoming playoff game who he mentioned first for MLKing. And he was described as very good everyone else was good or wtte. Is it possible that he is the best player on an 11-0 top level team and yet is only one star?

To the point someone else made, MLKing wasn't under the radar this year. There was plenty of exposure.

This guy will certainly be one to watch.

What happened in this game?
also ,any stats on our guy for season?

King won 21-18. Regular season, 26 for 261 in 10 games 2 TDs. 8 for 119 in two playoff wins with a TD. One catch for 13 yds and a TD in a playoff loss. One 94 yd punt return vs Union City.

Thats the best I can tell from the Dekalb stats. MLK had a star RB and a 300# line.

Josh Jarboe, who I have heard of, had 250 more yards but about the same # of catches and 5 tds in 10 games. He's a four star going to Oklahoma (three inches taller). Jarboe's Jr stats were much better.

From the article

Which players impress Valdosta’s coach the most?
“Their wide receiver, No. 4 (Daniel McKayhan) is very good. He’s also a kick returner and a punt returner,” Tomberlin said. “They’ve got a real good linebacker, No. 1 (Kight), who weighs 205. They also line him up at tailback, and he runs it well. No. 9 (Tyran Golden) is a big defensive end, about 6-feet-3 and 210 pounds, and a real quality player. The quarterback (Jarad Dorsey) is a good player. They’ve got a real big offensive line. No. 70 (300-pound Darryn Davis) is a big defensive lineman. The nose guard, No. 54 (Anthony Stinchcomb) is a good player.”

Daniel McKayhan is a two star WR we recently picked up.
