From the AJC:

Receiver James Johnson said you have to look beyond the statistics to appreciate what Bennett brings to the team.

"Great leadership. He was talking to us before every play telling us we've got to keep going," Johnson said Saturday. "The stats may not show how great a quarterback he is, but he is a great quarterback. He's poised. He keeps us lifted in the huddle when we make a bad play. He's a great leader."

I am just glad to see that our team is truly together...that is so important...and unusual these days.

I think this is an important part of being a leader of your football team --particularly the QB position. I haven't seem TB mouth off to the opposition once this year. There's no time for that when you're the QB --run the play --get up if your tackled --look over to the sideline to get the next play --get in the huddle and lead your guys.

Have we ever had a mouthy QB? :ugh:

Clearly JJ knows what's important in the very complex formula for winning. For those of you who have played at a high level know what I'm takling about.

I can't balme the QB for Md loss but a GOOD QB could have won the Uva game.To be a top team we need to win those "flat close" games.

Do you know something we don't? Last I checked, Maryland is on Saturday. Did you mean BC?
