I put this here to show a contrast in management of a program or at least one aspect of it... i am not calling for GOL's return either but found this interesting

some of you wont understand this
but I was talking to Godsey's brother in the letterwinner club tonight...he said something that resonated with me because I realized the meaning...

Apparently, O'leary doesnt let anyone wear Red at UCf which is what he did at GT.
2 things:
1)I doubt UCF has a hatred towards a red colored team (obviously he still "hates")
2)I doubt the athletes in the AA now, especially football are ridiculed for wearing red.

That was a 365 day thing by the way.

There is a saying that the team takes on the persona of their coach to a certain degree...well?

Nate, I feel your pain. Especially after what you guys did to fight and bring respectability to this series.

We really need someone with the fire and hatred that Coach O'Leary had. Someone with a heart instead of a business approach.

Nate, there was an article this week about just that fact, that the players don't wear red and if someone does they catch holy crap from the team. Don't know that Gailey has anything to do with it, but I think the hate is there.

If that's true, it sure doesn't show up on the football field.

uhh, i talk to people that work in the AA and football office and it isnt there at least not like it was and that red thing isnt 365... by the way, GOL was known to dissuade anyone from red whether it be a total stranger in the AA that he happened to be riding the elevator with or a secretary, a football player was a given

All I can tell you is that it was an AJC article (pretty sure, could have been Macon) this past week. It spoke to players only though, so I don't know if it's a GTAA thing or not.

WE LOVE YOU COACH!!!!!!!!!!!

I take the big man back in a heartbeat!!!!

Re: Great that he hates red...

now tell him to pay us our 1.5 million.

He left us.

Get over it.
i'll get right on that, obviously you didnt see the point, it wasnt about GOL as much as it was about a 365 day attitude towards any and everyone

one thing i cant get over=how good it feels to beat UGA

I'm one of the folks that wouldn't seriously consider being alright with O'Leary coming back. I'm not saying that's what this post was intended to suggest, but it's being mentioned by others.

That and there's no way in hell it even crosses DRad's mind.
