It seems like when the Yellow Jackets win, the Falcons win also. Vice Versa.

GT lost to VT. Falcons lost to TB.

GT beat Duke. Falcons beat GB (which is surprising all in itself)

Just kind of interesting. The only time that it that has not worked this season is when GT had the bye week, but the Falcons lost to Carolina.

That's 2 out of 3, or so far the correlation is about as strong as 66.67% of the time that GT wins on saturday, the Falcons will win on Sunday, or vice versa. The bye week, assumes a loss for GT because the Falcons don't have that Yellow Jacket luck for that week. :D

That's good news for ATL this weekend at home against the Bears because, barring a very big upset at GT, the Falcons have stats on their side for the W.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, you are right Kyle. The Falcons using the criteria I laid out would have the Falcons right about there. 11 wins, assuming the Jackets win out multiplied by the 66.67%, gives the Falcons 7.4, but we'll assume the worst and say 6 wins.

you know what else I noticed... every time GT won it was on a day that ended in "Y" and the same goes for the Falcons. As long as they keep that up that will not lose according to my calcs...

This is a direct effect of the AJC poll that asked "who will win more games, uga or Tech+Falcons"

Hmm... I actually missed that poll. I would guess the Tech + Falcons are going to, seeings how the Athens Journal Constitution forgot that UGA really isn't as great as they think they are.
