I was beginning to wonder if this was actually going to happen. Had to go searching for it. Feels good to return to normalcy.
 
Already in progress on their facebook page. They didn't even tweet the link. lol.

 
*I like this guy. He already dropped a "it is what it is". He's like a highly caffeinated, less grumpy CPJ.

*CPJ getting salty with Suguira after a question about recruiting. I love Ken's writing, but he is cringe-worthy in press conferences, sometimes.

*CPJ still laying the Wood on poor Ken. Said Saban is a better recruiter at Bama & LSU than Kent St and Michigan St. "He must've figured it out". Lol. I don't watch a lot of these, but I get the feeling this is probably how it usually goes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not on the FIRE CPJ bandwagon but I get so damn tired of hearing him speak to the media. Always defensive, always criticizing, always sarcastic.
 
CPJ just can't help himself. Bitching about recruiting multiple times and holding your hand up to signify having zero 5* recruits isn't going to go over well.

Meh. Everybody loved him when we were winning. That's what it's all about. People would be criticizing Dabo's personality if Clemson was losing.

Oh, he's always been sarcastic. But he hasn't always been this cranky. His stuff at Navy and Ga Southern was great. He had this post game presser exchange with a reporter after a win.
"What happened on the blocked punt?'
"We just (expletive) turned a guy loose."
I think those meatheads Chernoff and the other dimwit really got under his skin at the start of his tenure at Tech.
 
I didn't listen to this one, but this question (and answer) about recruiting came up previously in the last couple months. I'd expect cpj to be a bit cranky if he is asked the same questions by the same group of reporters and has to repeat himself.

Maybe a little of that and from what I've seen, especially today, I think he just doesn't like Ken, who is like the only mainstream media guy who covers Tech. Lol. Again, I like Ken's coverage, but he sounded like a whiny message board poster with that recruiting question. If he always does that, it's no wonder CPJ has little patience with him.

I also think CPJ is just gonna be grumpy until we start winning. This year obviously pissed him off.

I really dig the new guy.

Agreed. I think CPJ personally dislikes Ken, and I think it arose when he felt like Ken was "going behind his back" a few years ago.
