or is everyone else getting a little nervous on that Nesbitt and Dwyer mesh hand off up the middle?

We had that fumble in the 3rd that led to CU's first TD, because of that mesh fumble again.

Anyone agree that the game would have been in GT's favor much much more had Word not injured his hammy on that TD pass....Boy did CU get a free momentum shift there.....

When we were up 14-3 and driving, that fumble is the one that changed the game for Clemson's favor. Against VT and Clemson we have had the worst timed turnovers and other mistakes.

A phrase describing this game: "missed opportunities."

But at the same time. We still were able to win. That is the difference between Paul Johnson's GT and Chan Gailey's GT. We know how to win and we expect to win. I love how our boys didn't get frazzled when it seemed like the world was going to end and Clemson went up 17-14. They just kept chopping the wood and getting it done. I love our team. And I will always remember this team regardless of what happens this year because this is a special group of guys.

We also scored our first TD because of it. That's a major portion of this offense that we have to keep working. I honestly felt that both fumbles were 25% JD and 75% the o-line not giving him a chance to get the ball secure. He had it tucked in both times.

I agree completely. I think Jahi breaks that play up and they don't convert some of those 3rd downs to Kelly if he's still in the game.

What's the word on Jahi? Anybody hear how serious it is?

If I'm thinking about the same fumble you are talking about there, it wasn't caused by the handoff in the mesh. The Diesel already had the ball, got caught by a defender at the line of scrimmage, gained about a yard, and it got stripped in the process.

The other fumble by JD in the first half was slightly different where the defender's helmet happen to pop the ball right out of JD's arms.

I can't blame either fumbles on the option play.

That is exactly how I saw both of them as well.

pun intended?

Hehehehe :laugher:

Didn't even catch that.

Hope he is A-okay.

What kind of workout are these players doing with their hamstring? First Josh hobbling off field against MSU without being touched and now Jahi. It's like they work 'em too hard and don't give it enough time to recover before games.

It does look shakey on the exchanges. I understand the concept of it, but i feel many of these TO's this year have been due to DL penetration causing timing distruptions. More we play - the better they will get.
