...or does Paul Johnson look exactly like Chris Hatcher, only with about 20 years more experience? I finally went to check out his bio, and didn't realize the extent to which he has been successful. He did what Hatcher has done, but he's also been an OC twice in D1 and a HC for 6 years (with a 70+% winning percentage). Ummmmm....hire the experienced guy.

I think there are a few differences:

Hatcher appears more personable and outgoing

Johnson has more D1 head coaching experience

Offenses are a little unknown. PJ has run the option a lot, but appears to adapt to passing. CH has run a passing offense primarily but adapted to more of a run offense this year.

too bad dems has already said that PJ was out of the running a long time ago.

Dems said Johnson has now expressed great interest in being considered now.

Oh that is great. He was always someone I really would've liked to have...I wonder if it had something to do with him not wanting to hurt his team before the big game.

I know that "exciting" has been an attribute that we're looking for, but I'm certainly most interested in "successful". I hope the folks doing the hiring feel the same way.
