Is Josh Nesbitt a better leader than Reggie Ball?

The loss at VT was tough, but I see Georgia Tech being a contender in the ACC this year. Nesbitt seems to show better leadership skills and big play ability than Reggie Ball by a long shot..

I see Ga. Tech rebounding from this tough loss and reeling off a few home wins and get into a position to be ranked nationally..

Seriously though, it is early in Nesbit's career, but he seems to be more level headed. I'm not a Reggie Ball hater either, I think he was put in bad situations.

And his reads are only going to get better as the season goes on.

Josh Nesbitt is more talented than Reggie; but it would have been interesting to see how Reggie would have performed in this system. I think Reggie might have done better in this offense than the one he was forced to run.

Did you guys see the look on Nesbitt's face after the game? You could feel the pain and utter disappointment. He didn't look like he felt cheated or victimized. He looked like a warrior who had just gone down honorably.

My opinion of him is extremely high, right now. Emotionally, anyway. Technically, he needs work, as is to be expected.

It seems Josh took the VT loss very hard..at the end TV had showed him with a look on his face that implies we should have won this game .... However, I think he will learn from his mistakes... Reggie never seemed to learn from his on-field mistakes--unfortunately... The next few games at home will give us a great indicator how Josh and the team bounces back from this tough loss.

Reggie was a good QB early in the season. See two Auburn wins. He was beaten up each year because of piss poor OL play, and played hurt at the end of the year. The casual uninformed fan then proceeded to unfairly criticise him.

You are seeing the same thing again. Nesbitt looks great, but is taking a lot of punishment because the interior OL is simply horrible (Gilbert is doing OK; the other two are abysmal).

Reggie caught a lot of unjustified crap playing in a bad scheme with a poor OL-- and then there is Buddy Geis, the worst GT assistant of all time.

Nesbitt only has a bad OL to deal with.

I'm going to go ahead and say what everyone else is thinking....

**** YOU for invoking Reggie's name after this game. It was a tough enough loss as it is without having to compare an awesome effort by Nesbitt under a great coach like PJ to Reggie and Gailey's washed up butt.

did Barack make $4 million last year?

I am sorry but I am tired of people bashing Reggie.
He wasn't exactly the best Qb we have ever had but
he was one of our players and he gave everything he had for GT football. One person on here asked how Reggie would be in this system. I don't know where he would be but he would be starting for CPJ. Coach likes players that give 110% every play. Reggie Ball is has better ties to GT football than anybody here outside of Mover. HE PLAYED GT football! You bash Reggie you bash yourself.

Reggie Ball would not be starting over Josh Nesbitt if he was still eligible.

Reggie probably would be starting for PJ, but not at QB.

I supported Reggie (only because he was the best we had) until his post game comments after quite a few games.

He did not even seem to care he lost to UGA and in general acted like a immature little kid.

I think Reggie would make a good back in this system. Hell, if you have Reggie, Nesbitt, Dwyer, AND Jones....that's a lot of depth.

Reggie is history. At the present we have a QB who played his heart out today. I wish him success in coming weeks. He faces another good D against Miss State next week. If he keeps giving the effort he gave today, good things will happen.

I said i don't know where he would be but he would be starting. You guys dont know how to read?
