With the additions of Uzzi, McKayhan and Sims or are there any others we might still take at this point? Someone let me know please, thanks ahead.

Since when has that mattered? He's a soft verbal to Vandy with a chance at decomitting from them in favor of the Jackets.
Yeah he may be a soft verbal, but he also has us listed as "low interest." A lot of these backyard guys want to get away from home.

He committed to Vandy on last Wednesday and then cam for a visit to GT on the weekend. I would say he is very soft to Vandy. Don't know if he will change his verbal but I would give it at least a 50/50 chance. I would think all we would need to do is let him talk to MJ for about 30 minutes and he would be ours.

Antonio Wilson, DE from Columbia High in Decatur, GA.

He's an insteresting project like you mentioned friday (4 games 11 sacks, no prior experience), how did his unofficial go? Did he enjoy it? Did he get cleared by the Hill?

On second thought I see that the Uzzi link has the info on this kid, I'll follow it.

So, do people take Scout seriously or not? If you're going to contradict yourself, try not to be so obvious about it.

I think the point is that some of these profiles are not exactly current or accurate. The rankings of the evaluated players I think is pretty good but they do miss. But some of the recruits profiles can be misleading as scout list offers based off of what the recruits say not necessarily off of the actual offers from the school. Basically if a recruit claims an offer then scout posts one. Also in Wilson's, and other players cases, if a player that is committed takes a visit after he is committed to another school he is then listed as a soft-verbal and having low interest in the school he is visiting. This information is not always taken directly from the recruit.

DemJackets says that he his fully cleared now.

It was never in doubt...it was just the formality of the process had to happen.

He has a 3.9 GPA and had already been accepted to the Naval Academy and Vanderbilt.

Found this quote on espn regarding Terrelle Pryor.

"LSU, which beat Ohio State to win the 2007 BCS national championship last month, tried to get into the Pryor lottery. Even Georgia Tech seemed to get in race late -- after the Yellow Jackets hired former Navy coach Paul Johnson, who prefers a triple-option spread offense. Pryor told one of Johnson's assistants he wanted to visit Georgia Tech, but Reitz called the school to cancel the trip because he didn't believe his star player had sincere interest in playing for the Yellow Jackets."

I dont think his coach should have made that decision for him. Anybody else have any more info regarding this?

Here is the link. Pryor

Mr. Pryor has no intention of coming to GT. it would be great, but my bro lives in Pittsburgh, and reads about Terrelle every day. if he is not in Maize and Gold next year, i will be EXTREMELY surprised
