There was one that was far less serious, but thought it was the epitome of serious discussion.

Fortunately, after dwindling down to to about 5 posters (3 of whom were the moderator posting under his secret identities) it went away.
 
Do you really want to post on a board that is heavily moderated and there is no fun allowed?

I have accounts on both other sites and rarely post because they're boring.

ST has it's own flavor. If you don't like it, good for you. Go somewhere else.

Furthermore, I think Stingtalk would land firmly at #2 on a sports forum ranking of epic trolling, behind shaggybevo.
 
It's not that people aren't serious. Stingtalk has just had an influx of apathetic pussies over the last 4 years who have taken over the board.

is it really necessary to show your ass in every thread? give it a rest, man. its a message board and you seem to have your personal self esteem tied to a game played by kids that are amateurs at a smallish technical college.

we should strive to do better in every way- and Football needs improvement; but to attack people that can find balance in life that one negative thing doesnt turn them into an asshole is pretty lame and really serves no purpose.

it is clear that you are just venting your feeling of inadequacy onto someone that you consider 'weaker' somehow. break the cycle, man, its ok that daddy slapped mommy around, but dont copy the behavior - grow up better

Even on his own board people called Jim out for being a fraud/making up stories... then he had a hissy fit and declared he was no longer releasing "insider information" to the board... hahahaha
